Powering Global Communication and Precision Navigation for Embedded AIS Transceiver Platforms

At AHK Services, we specialize in delivering high-performance embedded solutions that ensure reliable communication and precise navigation across diverse global markets. Here's how we've contributed to the development and rigorous testing of the NEXUS transceiver platform.

Robust DSC Message Handling: We engineered the transmission and reception handling of Digital Selective Calling (DSC) messages, adhering meticulously to the ITU-R M.493 standard, enabling reliable emergency and routine communications.

Seamless Global Product Regionalization: Our expertise ensured the NEXUS platform was tailored for international markets, including specific regionalizations for US, Canada, and the rigorous EU inland waterway (RAINWAT) regulations, broadening market reach.

Advanced ATIS Mode Feature Implementation: We integrated the Automatic Transmitter Identification System (ATIS) mode, enhancing safety and compliance for relevant maritime operations on european inland waterways.

Precision GNSS Diagnostics & Configuration: Our team implemented sophisticated GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) diagnostics and configuration capabilities, ensuring accurate positioning and reliable performance for navigation.

Optimized Audio Routing & PTT Protocol: We designed and implemented efficient audio data routing and a robust Push-to-Talk (PTT) protocol architecture, ensuring clear and immediate voice communication.

Automated Verification & Test: To guarantee reliability and performance of the NEXUS transceiver platform, we developed and integrated an extensive verification and test automation suite. This critical work, utilized Teraterm, bash, PowerShell, and Robot Framework. It got seamlessly integrated into a Jenkins pipeline, ensuring rapid validation and regression free development iterations.
